Polaroid’s are created to capture a moment within minutes or seconds of a photograph’s exposure. The film contains chemicals needed for developing and fixing the photograph, and the camera exposes and initiates the developing process after a photo has been taken.
Artists and photographers from Miles Aldridge to David Hockney use Polaroid photos to test for lighting conditions and shape their compositions. All Polaroid’s are unique. In some ways, they are the purest expression of a photographer’s process.
We’re rather fond of this one by Sophie Mayanne.
We’ve worked hard to find the most environmentally friendly packaging on the market. Our print boxes and poster tubes are made from recycled cardboard and are fully recyclable. The tube ends are made from recycled plastic and are also recyclable.
Our tissue paper is recycled, eco-friendly and vegan. It's PH neutral and approximately 35% of the electrics used to make it is produced from renewable energy.
For the final touch, our tape is paper based and water activated, so no need for any nasty adhesives or plastics. It’s made from - you guessed it - 100% recycled content and printed with soy ink. Not a bad start.
